We are searching for a Project Safety Assurance Manager in Madrid, Spain. You will coordinate all safety assurance activities, manage safety planning, lead risk assessments and ensure compliance with international railway safety standards throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

✓Coordinate all Safety Assurance activities throughout the project.
✓Define the Safety Plan and manage safety workload and planning.
✓Perform safety analyses and maintain the Hazard Log.
✓Review design, verification, validation and testing activities from a safety perspective.
✓Prepare Safety Reports and Safety Case documentation.
✓Apply project safety assurance methodologies and risk acceptance criteria.
✓Present and defend Safety Case documentation before internal and external assessors.
✓Define corrective action plans and follow their implementation.
✓Lead and coordinate Safety Assurance Engineers assigned to the project.

Requirements

✓University degree in Engineering.
✓More than 5 years of experience in railway signalling safety projects.
✓Experience with IXL, ERTMS Trackside, ERTMS Onboard and/or CBTC solutions.
✓Fluent English and Spanish.
✓Experience working in multicultural and international environments.
✓Knowledge of Safety Plan, PHA, FMECA, FTA, IHA, OSHA, SRIL, Hazard Log, V&V Safety Reports and Safety Case methodologies.
